Which violations can I challenge?

Any violations issued by State Trooper or FMCSA officer you do not agree with.

The application will allow you to provide details and background information as to the incident surrounding the issuing violation by the officer.

Types of violations which can be challenged:

• Obstruction of view (GPS, phone, ipod) violations if within regulatory distance from window edges,
• Missing clean inspections from your records
• Mechanical defects where a licensed mechanic opinion differs from officer's findings
• Violations for unpaid UCR before the month of December
• Inspections on vehicles that were not driving under your authority
• Use of left lane when necessary to avoid an accident or dangerous situation
• Use of hands-free devices requiring only one button to operate
